Hinda’s Apology and Its Questionable Veracity
It may or may not be true.
A narration about the Battle of Uhud says Hind took Hamzah's liver and chewed it, but could not eat it. The account's authenticity is disputed—which is where my imaginary apology comes in:
“Sorry I might have eaten your liver. People say I did, but it’s hard to verify.”
